I Love Drawing Outdoors

And indoors! I’m trying to host one public art event per month in the Hudson Valley, outside when possible. I’ll be announcing these via my newsletter.

Some Drawing Out events this year might include some rainy day restaurant sketching, a Bear Mountain Bridge study, Perspective in Peekskill, Farmers Market people watching, Plein Air at Little Stony Point, and Manitoga Mountain Laurels in late May. (I’m looking forward to that one!)

Teaching Artist at NECS

I teach grades 6-12 after school at New Era Creative Space.
2026 classes include 3 levels of Digital Art, Comics Art & Writing Workshop, Stagecraft for the Youth Theater Collective, and maybe a new Junior level digital art class for ages 7-10. I’m always open to suggestions!

Art Portfolio Prep

I’m building a wall of fame filled with letters of acceptance from kids I’ve helped get into art schools.
I price mentorship meetings on a sliding scale to help young artists with big plans, ongoing or one-off.
We can do a free meeting to see where you’re at, and then set some goals. I’ll help you show off your best work and make it shine. Together we can decode college websites and Common App forms to find the right fit on time.
